Republic Road closed tonight from Chase Card Services to Monastery Street for bridge work

Republic Road from Chase Card Services to Monastery Street will be closed from 9:30 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 19) until 5:30 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 20) for work on the Republic Road bridge over James River Freeway.

This work is part of the Republic Road widening project, from the entrance to Chase Card Services to Fremont Avenue. This project is funded by the 1/4-Cent Capital Improvement Sales Tax and the 1/8-Cent Transportation Sales Tax.
