Overnight closures next week at Republic Road and National Avenue intersection

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The intersection of Republic Road and National Avenue close overnight to traffic starting at 9:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 15, reopening at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16. The intersection close again at starting at 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, reopening at 5:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17.

These closures are weather permitting. No traffic will be allowed through the intersection during these closures. All driveways to businesses will be open, but an alternate route may need to be taken.

This work is a part of the Republic Road Widening project from the entrance to Chase Card Services to Fremont Avenue. The project is funded by the 1/4-Cent Capital Improvement Sales Tax and the 1/8-Cent Transportation Sales Tax.
